I love to use exfoliating face scrubs however, I recently learned that they aren’t good for the environment. You may not realize this, but those little scrubbing micro-beads are made of plastic. They eventually make their way out into the ocean and effect our marine life. This is one reason why I really love this product.
St. Ives® Blemish Control Apricot Scrub is made with 100% natural exfoliants made of corn kernel meal, walnut shell powder and apricot extract! The natural exfoliating beads feel amazing on my skin. I really love exfoliating scrubs because they remove dead skin and brighten your face. It’s also sulfate-free, always a plus!
Its acne fighting powers aren’t something to look over either. I’ve been using this face scrub for a couple of weeks now and I notice a difference in my skin. I’ve had less breakouts than usual. It’s a strong formula but it doesn’t dry me out too much. The Blemish Control Apricot Scrub contains salicylic acid which helps prevent blemishes before they happen.
