To say the last month has been full of changes for me is an understatement. Honestly, so much as happened recently, I don’t know where to even start. About three months ago, I graduated from college with a B.A. in journalism, one month ago I accepted my first full-time job position in NYC, and about a month ago I officially moved into my first apartment–in Brooklyn! Seriously, 2018 has already exceeded all of my expectations.
So that was the abbreviated version of what is going on in my life–let me further explain. In February I signed the lease for my first apartment, moved out of my childhood home in New Jersey, and into my very own place in Brooklyn. Just after that, I started working at my dream job as an Editorial Assistant at SHEfinds.com in Manhattan.
I’ll spare you all of the details, but my apartment escapades certainly did not go smoothly at first (so much drama with my landlord, it was unreal), but I’m finally settled and living my best life in New York City. I love my roommates, I love my job, and I love living in the city.
I’ve definitely been busy and making the most of my first month here (hence why I dropped off the face of the blogging earth for the last month) but I’m ready to get back into the swing of my routine. Expect more blog posts from me in the very near future–featuring all of my fun adventures in the big city. For now, enjoy some of these snapshots of my life over the last four weeks (which includes too many happy hours and lots of tacos).
